Executive Team
E. Anthony Wilson – Chairman, President, CEO
Mr. Wilson has served as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of all related HHC entities since January 2006. He has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and real estate industries as a developer, owner and manager and was named 1994's Hotelier of the Year by HVS. In 1984, Mr. Wilson co-founded Hudson Hotels Corporation (HHC) followed by Microtel Franchise System Inc. At its peak, HHC owned and managed 57 hotel properties including Marriott, Microtel, Choice, Hilton and Holiday Hotel brands, and employed 1,300 staff members. As General Partner of Wilson Enterprises L.P., a real estate development firm in Rochester, New York, Mr. Wilson developed in excess of two million square feet of office, warehouse, apartments and related facilities for tenants, including Fortune 500 companies, the United States Government and other national corporations.
William J. Sander III – Executive VP and Director of Operations
Mr. Sander spearheaded a successful launch of The Seagate Hotel & Spa in 2009 as the hotel's Managing Director, and was named Executive Vice President and Director of Operations of Seagate Hospitality Group in early 2012. In addition to overseeing operations at The Seagate Hotel & Spa and the private Seagate Beach Club, Sander contributes to growing the company on a regional and national level by pursuing management contracts and partnerships, as well as adding additional properties to the company's portfolio. With over two decades of experience at luxury hotel addresses, prior to The Seagate Hotel & Spa, Sander was General Manager of the award-winning XV Beacon Hotel in Boston from 1999 through 2009. Before XV Beacon, Sander served as Director of Room Operations at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and as Director of Food and Beverage at the Boston Harbor Hotel.
Thomas W. Blank – Legal Counsel
Mr. Blank also serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer and an equity partner of HHC/RHD Holdings and all of its subsidiary entities. He was formerly Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Hudson Hotels Corporation (HHC), and was later promoted to President and CEO. Prior to coming to HHC, Mr. Blank was a senior officer for Essex Investment Group, a real estate development, management and ownership company. At Essex, he ran the Hotel Division and was responsible for the site selection, zoning, acquisition, construction, outfitting and operation of the hotel portfolio mainly comprised of middle-market hotels. Before Essex, he was a partner in a private law practice, concentrating on commercial real estate and business law.
Ralph L. Peak – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Peak is also the Chief Financial Officer and an equity partner of HHC/RHD Holdings, LLC, and all of its subsidiary entities. He was formerly the Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO of Hudson Hotel Corporation (HHC), which served as the management company and owner of 29 hotels in the United States and the management company for 24 hotels in the northeast and mid-south with combined revenues of approximately $90 million. Mr. Peak was responsible for the financial reporting including SEC filings and the filings of tax returns for federal purposes for all states in which HHC did business. Mr. Peak has also been involved with commercial real estate since 1977 and has served as Managing General Partner of Wilson Enterprises, LP since 2001.
Sharon S. Sahs – Director of Accounting
Ms. Sahs serves as Director of Accounting for Seagate Hospitality Group where she is responsible for all phases of accounting, including cash management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, bank reconciliations, fixed asset management and general ledger accounting. She is also responsible for the preparation of financial statements and has the primary responsibility for the administration of all accounting activities for both the corporate and property levels.
Wendy Blank – Vice President Human Resources
Ms. Blank has played an instrumental role in the establishment and progress of the organization’s Human Resources department. In 2001, she was named Human Resources Director and was responsible for the production of the company’s Operations Manual and the development of employee benefit packages. She also authored the Employee Handbook and continues to assist property managers with all employment-related issues.
Adam Gottlieb – Executive Chef
Mr. Gottlieb leads the culinary teams for both the casual and fine-dining restaurants at The Seagate Beach Club and the signature restaurant at The Seagate Hotel & Spa. He developed and designed the menus for these restaurants and creates daily and weekly dishes utilizing local seafood and seasonal ingredients. A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, Mr. Gottlieb has served as the executive chef at the renowned Palm Beach Yacht Club and has held several executive culinary positions at fine-dining restaurants and hotels in South Florida and Boston.
